| Description
| - Projekt je věnován výzkumu řady aspektů ekologie (biotopové nároky, demografie, migrace a disperse), genetické variability, parazitace a komensálních brouků populací sysla obecného (Spermophilus citellus) na území České republiky. Jedná se o kriticky ohrožený druh chráněný jak národní, tak i evropskou legislativou. Projekt vychází z naléhavých potřeb Záchranného programu (ZP) sysla obecného v ČR. Dosažené výsledky mají ZP doplnit a přispět tak k jeho úspěšné realizaci. Získané poznatky budou využity také v základním a aplikovaném výzkumu. (cs)
- Project is addressed to research of numerous aspects of ecology (habitat requirements, demography, dispersy and migration),genetic variation, parasites and comensal beetles in populations of the European ground squirrel in the territory of the Czech Republic. The ground squirrel is classified as critically endangered species. The project is approaching towards urgent demands of European Ground Squirrel Action Plan (AP) in the Czech Republic. Achived results should complete AP and contribute to its successful realisation. The results will be used also in the primary and applied research. (en)
