  • (1) Definovat zásady produkce poloodrostků a odrostků nové generace v lesních školkách a následně ověřit tuto technologii v provozních podmínkách lesních školek. (2) Otestovat a funkčně doladit mechanizovaný způsob výsadby poloodrostků a odrostků nové generace na vhodných stanovištích a porovnat jej s manuální výsadbou. V širším kontextu projekt povede k intenzifikaci a zefektivnění produkce a výsadby listnatých dřevin a přispěje tak k druhové diverzifikaci lesních porostů, a tím ke zvýšení jejich odolnosti. (cs)
  • The aims of the project are as follows: (1) to define the principles of a production of large-sized, bare-rooted planting stock (new-generation saplings) with high-quality root systems achieved by intensive mechanised root pruning and make the technology accessible to common forest nurseries (2) to test and technologically improve the mechanised way of planting the new-generation saplings on forest sites and compare the mechanised and manual planting of this large-sized planting stock. In a broader context the project will intensify and make more efficient the production and planting of broad-leaved trees and thus it could contribute to species diversification and stabilisation of forest stands.
