Stanovit rizikovost zvýšených obsahů toxických forem hliníku pro lesní porosty v ČR. Navrhnout metody pro stanovení toxických forem Al v půdních průzkumech. Navrhnout metody hospodaření v lokalitách s takto degradovanými lesními půdami. (cs)
The project is focused on the role of aluminium in forest soils. Toxic forms of Al are supposed to be one of major factors negatively influencing the vitality of roots and the condition of forest tree species. No estimation of different Al compounds, however, is provided within common soil surveys. The project proposal is based on detailed analyses of forest soil acquired in the European project BIOSOIL. Supplementary analyses of individual species of the aluminium compounds will be carried out on selected plots of Norway spruce and European beech forest stands. Furthermore the mass and vitality of root system as well as the quality of mycorrhizae will be studied. Statistical methods will be used to compare results obtained by “common” and “special” procedures for estimating the aluminium content and its function in forest soil. The current risk of toxic forms of Al for forest health in the Czech Republic will be also evaluated. Project will deliver the up to date methodology for evaluation of soil al (en)
