The project submitted will be focused on prevention of enteral diseases which cause serious economic losses by death of piglets, decreased efficiency and conversion of nutrients. Solving of the project is based on current information about health problems in pig breeds and the regulations which should support confidence of the consumers in safety of food of animal origin. It is consistent with the suggestions of the European Commission to ban the use of antibiotics in farm animal nutrition as they may cause the cross-resistance to antimicrobial agents. During the project solving, alternative adsorbents from natural sources will be used with the aim to assess their effect on physiological functions of the organisms, general health status, incidence of mortality and morbidity, the level of efficiency and conversion of nutrients.
