Description
  • The main task of the project is to understand the relationship between microstructure of coatings prepared by various thermal spray methods and their properties. Mechanical properties, resistance to corrosion, thermal conductivity and other properties are determined by kind of pores in thermal sprayed coatings. The relationship between microstructure and properties is not still clear, especially as concerns to our limited ability to characterise and define individual kinds of pores. Namely resistance to corrosion and wear will be studied on Ni based materials. (en)
  • Úkolem projektu je porozumět vztahům mezi strukturou povlaků produkovaných různými technikami žárového nástřiku a jejich vlastnostmi. Druh porezity v žárově stříkaných povlacích určuje jejich mechanické vlastnosti, schopnost ochrany proti korozi, tepelnou vodivost a ostatní jejich užitné vlastnosti. Vztahy mezi strukturou a vlastnostmi jsou doposud nejasné, zejména pro naše omezené schopnosti charakterizovat a kvantifikovat jednotlivé druhy pórů. Budou studovány zejména schopnost antikorozní ochrany a odolnost proti otěru na materiálech založených na niklu. (cs)
