Description	The aim of the study realized among children in age 9 to 10 in 40 countries is to investigate children's reading literacy level in an important age when they handled reading technique and start to use reading as a tool for further learning. The projekt will allow to compare the level of reading literacy of the Czech ten-year old students with the level of students in other countries. The demonstration test and the educational program for Czech primary teachers will be also developed. (en) Výzkum je prováděn mezi žáky 4. ročníků ZŠ ve 40 zemích světa a jeho cílem je zjistit úroveň čtenářské gramotnosti žáků v důležitém věku, kdy žáci zvládli techniku čtení a začínají jej používat jako prostředek k dalšímu vzdělávání. Projekt umožní porovnat úroveň čtenářské gramotnosti desetiletých žáků v České republice s úrovní jejich vrstevníků v jiných zemích. V rámci projektu bude rovněž vyvinut ukázkový test a vzdělávací program pro české učitele primární školy. (cs)
