Vliv mezních pásů a živých plotů na erozi půd a retenční a akumulační funkci krajiny. (cs) To compare medieval pluzina landscapes in the Czech Republic with analogical hedgerow landscapes in Massachusetts and other states of the USA, their dynamics and factors behind their disappearance. Approaches to the conservation of these landscapes in both countries. Possible means of dating both types of landscape. Ecological and landscape-ecological functions of these landscapes. Perception of aesthetic and other functions of hedgerow landscapes by various types of their users, the potential of these landscapes for eco-tourism. The impact of hedgerows in these landscapes on soil erosion, on retention and accumulation functions of the landscape. (en)
