Description
  • Cílem projektu je objasnit proces aklimace genotypů ječmene ke změnám v množství a kvalitě dopadající radiace, zejména k působení UV-B radiace, a to na úrovni změn metabolického profilu, změn fyziologické (fotosyntéza) a morfologické odezvy (růst). Cílem projektu je odhalit dynamiku a fyziologickou podstatu aklimace rostlin vystavených různým intenzitám UV-B radiace. Výstupem tak budou nové biomarkery a metody usnadňující proces šlechtění a tvorbu genotypů se zvýšenou odolností k UV radiaci či se zlepšenými kvalitativními parametry. (cs)
  • The goals of the project are (1) to describe changes in metabolite profile of barley plants (Hordeum vulgare) and dynamics of their physiological (photosynthesis) and morphological (growth) responses during the acclimation to various intensities of ultraviolet radiation (UV-A and UV-B) in combination with photosynthetically active radiation, (2) to analyse main limitation processes of photosynthesis, and (3) to study the functional connection between changes in plants metabolite profile and their physiological and morphological responses. We will focus on metabolites that have protective functions in photosynthesis, significantly influence plants development or they have important nutrition potential. (en)
