Description	The electricity industry has a great impact to the national economy. For its overall scientific and engineering complexity, many government and commercial institutions ask EGÚ Brno for its expertises regarding balancing the electricity production and consumption, maintenance of the electricity production resources and managing the transmission and distribution power network. EGÚ Brno is a well respected consultant of the wide spectrum of energetic companies. EGÚ Brno base its expertises on the original research of its own computer models. The research and development of modeling and simulation techniques in this area must follow the evolution of the EU energy politics and legislative. To keep us ready, EGÚ Brno spends yearly a large amounts of investments to support its development team. The goal of the project is too keep the concentration on the research and development in the field of computer modeling and simulation of electricity industry. (en) Elektroenergetika má významný vliv na národní hospodářství ČR. Vzhledem k vědecké a inženýrské komplexnosti celé problematiky výroby, distribuce a prodeje elektřiny využívají již po desetiletí státní instituce či soukromé podniky služeb EGÚ Brno s požadavky na expertízy v oblastech bilancí elektřiny, provozu energetických zdrojů, provozu přenosové či distribučních soustav apod. EGÚ Brno je respektovaným poradcem mnoha energetických organizací. Své expertízy zakládá na svých původních výzkumech a vývoji vlastních počítačových modelů. Výzkum a vývoj metod počítačového modelování a simulace energetiky v EGÚ musí reflektovat vývoj evropské energetiky. Proto jsou v EGÚ Brno každoročně vynakládány značné částky na podporu výzkumu a vývoje. Cílem předkládaného projektu je dále věnovat soustředěné úsilí na výzkum a vývoj počítačového modelování v oblasti elektroenergetiky. Plánované výsledky posilují expertní potenciál EGÚ Brno a vzhledem k charakteru činností EGÚ Brno budou rozvíjet i sektor energetiky v ČR (cs)
