  • Hnízdní rozšíření a početnost jednotlivých druhů ptáků v okrese Plzeň-město je sledována pomocí síťového mapování a bodové metody IPA. Současně je popsána horizontální i vertikální struktura prostředí v okolí sčítacích bodů. Ze získaných výsledků lze zjistit složení ornitocenóz typických pro různé místní biotopy. (cs)
  • The aim of this project is to study breeding distribution of birds in the territory of Plzeň. The method used in the mapping with that of the national mapping project (1985-1989). Data presentation in the atlas will be based on a regular grid related to geographic coordinates. The size of a square is approximately 1,5 x 1,25 km. The area is covered by 85 squares. The relative abundance of breeding bird densities is obtained by point count method. The study area is divided into a network of points in grid of 350 x 300m. There is 20 points in each mapping square (1700 points on the whole). The habitat features at each point count station will be recorded. Results obtained in bird censusing can be used in any type of lanscape planning. (en)
