  • "This project should present object of modern Ostrava architecture in a form of a complex exhibition realized in a cooperation with Dům umění Ostrava (House of Arts) and, moreover, organize scientific exchange of various viewpoints dealing with protectionand restoration of the sights of modern ages at a national workship organized by the Ancient Monuments Department in Ostrava too. The aim of this project is to complete the list of sights of modern architecture in the territory of Ostrava further to a research and evaluation of modern architecture in the territory of Moravská Ostrava - See the publication written ny Jindřich Vybíral ""Zrození velkoměsta"" (Birth of a Large City), published by the Ancient Monuments Department in Ostrava in 1997 with the help of the Municipalities of Ostrava, Moravská Ostrava and Přívoz. The meaning of modern architecture includes (in this case) realization free from historicism ofthe last ages and being in connection with modern ages at the beginning of 20th century, i. e" (en)
  • Projekt usiluje o provedení systematického průzkumu objektů moderní architektury Ostravy. Na základě komplexního terénního a následně archivního průzkumu předpokládá vyhodnocení objektů architektury secese, moderny a funkcionalismu v katastrech jednotlivých městských obvodů. Výstup ve formě libreta výstavy a následné realizace výstavní expozice bude doprovázen odborným celostátním seminářem na téma architektonických památek nedávné minulosti s účastí památkových ústavů a odborné veřejnosti.
