  • Cíle projektu jsou (1) vytvoření originální modelovací metody pro studium dynamických excitací spinových vortexů ve válcových nanodiscích, (2) teoretického vyšetřování nestabilních excitací vortexů, jejich přepínání a vzájemné interakce a (3) srovnání výsledků s experimentem a jejich publikace.   • The project focuses on the fundamental research of dynamic excitations of patterned nanoscale ferromagnetic discs and related physical phenomena. The research is motivated by possible future applications in nonvolatile magnetic memory and data storage, magnetic and magnetooptical sensing, and novel treatment of signal based on spin and magnetostatic waves in the frame of spintronics and integrated electronics. Carrying out the research consists of developing an original fast and precise modeling method, utilizing it in various numerical simulations, interpreting and publishing the theoretical results, comparing them with possible experimental data from collaborating laboratories, and suggesting new experimental setups. The phenomena suggested for theoretical investigations are nonsteady motions of spin vortices, their dynamic switching, complex excitations based on magnetic field and electrical current, and their mutual magnetostatic coupling. The project will be carried out in collaboration with experimental and theoretical laboratories in Japan, Germany, and the Czech Republic, and its results will be presented at related international conferences and published in international refereed journals.
