Description	This POST-DOC project deals with research on the methods improving the Czech signed speech synthesis system. Current methods provide a conversion of text form of Czech signed speech to appropriate avatar animation. These animations are not precise enough and do not involve natural components necessitated by person communicated in signed speech. The improvement is aimed at the control of the non-manual component of signed speech and its combination with manual component in such way that current synthesis method will be more natural and intelligible. Furthermore the POST-DOC project deals with the perception tests of signed speech used for an evaluation of designed synthesis method.
