| Description
| - The proposal reflects the interdisciplinary character of the physics of nanostructures by creating an elite team of the doctoral students of Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University (MFF UK) and of the Institute of Physics, AS CR (FZÚ) working under the supervision of the leading experts. The project will stimulate research in particular of the nanostructured materials for microelectronics, optoelectronics, heterocatalysis, biotechnology, infromaction science or the novel energy resources. Team will be composed of the top 20 students, about 7% of the total number of the students of the study program physics, jointly accredited by MFF and FZÚ. Project will support interdisciplinary dissertations research at the joint laboratories and participation of the students in international events (week of doctoral students, summers school etc.). Project will coordinate the presentation of the students at the foremost international conferences and their participation in the research at the best laboratories abroad (synchrotron beamlines at Trieste, Grenoble, HMI Berlin, NIMS Tsukuba, NAIST Nara etc.). An important part of the project is its opening to the wider community of students and public. (en)
- Doktorský projekt odráží mezioborový charakter oboru fyziky nanostruktur vytvořením elitního týmu doktorandů Matematicko-fyzikální fakulty UK (MFF) a Fyzikálního ústavu AV ČR (FZÚ) pracujícího pod vedením předních odborníků. Projekt podpoří práce především v oblasti nanostrukturních materiálů s použitím v mikroelektronice, optoelektronice, heterogenní katalýze, v biotechnologiích, v informačních technologiích, nebo technologiích pro nové zdroje energie. Tým bude tvořit 20 nejlepších studentů, tj. ~7 % z celkového počtu studentů oboru Fyzika společně akreditovaného na MFF a FZÚ. Projekt podpoří mezioborové disertační práce na společných pracovištích i účast studentů na společných mezinárodních akcích (doktorandský týden, letní škola a další). Projekt zkoordinuje vystoupení studentů na významných světových konferencích a zapojení do práce ve špičkových zahraničních laboratořích (synchrotronová pracoviště v Terstu, Grenoblu, HMI Berlin, NIMS Tsukuba, NAIST Nara, a další). Důležitou součástí projektu je i otevřenost k širší komunitě studentů i veřejnosti. (cs)
