- The proposed project is focused on new concepts in the solution of interdisciplinary problems and on the ellimination of deficiencies in doctoral programs held at TUL and CVUT. The considered deficiencies include an excessive specialization in particular areas, the limited possibility of sharing a unique laboratory equipment only by a small number of students from their own workplaces, the absence of communication and co-operation among students in the different branches of electrical and science engineering. The main objectives of this project are the setting up and verification of new concepts in the education of future scientists based on the important principles such as a progress in the theoretical knowledge and the continuous comparison of theoretical results with experimental data. The key issues will be monitored, such as effectiveness of learning, integration of research activities into doctoral studies, and an increase in the perception of interdisciplinar nature of the world.
