Description	Problematika náboženských dějin v českých zemích patří k nejzanedbanějším oblastem bádání. V transdisciplinární spolupráci historiografie, sociologie náboženství, religionistiky, teologie a sociální antropologie a v perspektivě komparativních a sdílených dějin usiluje předkládaný projekt o vypracování badatelských základů pro jejich další domácí rozvoj a zároveň vychovat prostřednictvím doktorandského studia mladé odborníky pro práci v této oblasti. Výzkum i výchova se budou soustředit na následující oblasti: (1) na dlouhodobější procesy proměn náboženství a náboženskosti v situaci moderny (odcírkevnění, sekularizace atp.), (2) na prohlubování konfliktního vztahu vědy a náboženství (odkouzlení skutečnosti, atd.), (3) souvislosti nacionalismu a náboženství (identity, konstrukce smyslu atp.), (4) na změny náboženství ve městech jako specifických prostorech modernizace (homogenizace a fragmentace náboženských projevů, atp.), (5) vztahům náboženství a genderové problematiky (např. ženské náboženské spolky a jejich generové role atp.). (cs) The study of history of religion is the most neglected areas of research in the Czech Republic. The proposed project is trans-disciplinary in character – historiography, sociology of religion, studies of religion, theology, and social anthropology will be represented. Comparative and shared history perspectives will be taken. The project aims at building a research basis for further investigation and, by assigning doctoral theses, also at bringing young scholars to research in the area. The research and education of students will explore the following: 1) long-term changes of religion and religiousness in modernity (disestablishment, secularization etc.); 2) the conflict between science and religion (Entzuberung of reality etc.,); 3) the connections between nationalism and religion (identities, the construction of sense etc.); 4) the changes of religion in cities as specific spaces of modernization (homogenization and fragmentation of religious phenomena etc.); and 5) the relationship between religion and gender (women’s religious societies and their understanding of gender etc.).
