| Description
| - Obsah projektu je zaměřen na analýzu a posouzení místa a úlohy armády v zápase o politickou moc v Československu v letech 1945 - 1948. Cílem projektu je objasnit do jaké míry se armáda jako mocenský nástroj státu stala objektem zápasu o politickou moc,jak tento zápas sama ovlivňovala a jak se důsledky tohoto zápasu promítaly v jednotlivých oblastech budování armády v uvedeném období. Na základě výsledků studia archivních materiálů a dalších pramenů analyzovat úlohu některých armádních složek,především vojenského obranného zpravodajství v boji o politickou moc zvláště v době únorových událostí roku 1948. Objasnit úlohu armády v období únorové krize, příčiny a důsledky perzekucí vůči nejvyšším představitelům armády po podpisu demise ministrůprezidentem dr. Edvardem Benešem. (cs)
- The project is focused on the analysis and evaluation of the place and role of the armed forces in the political power struggle in the Czechoslovakia in the period 1945-1948. It aims at the clarification of the question what was the extent to which thearmed forces, as at power tool of the state, became the object of the political power struggle, and how, in turn, the armed forces were themselves able to influence the power struggle, and finally, how the consequences of that power struggle werereflected in the specific areas of the army build-up in the period under study. Further, the project should, on the bases of the analysis archive materials and other sources, analyse the role of some elements of the armed forces - especially militarydefence intelligence - in the political power struggle, in particular during the events of February 1948.
