| Description
| - Projekt se soustřeďuje k tématu holokaustu/šoa, tj. vyhlazení Židů v nacistických likvidačních táborech, jak je zobrazeno v české a slovenské literatuře. Konfrontace dvou jazykově i teritoriálně blízkých literatur, české a slovenské, které však mají odlišné kulturní zázemí, umožní sledovat konstanty i rozdíly v zobrazení tohoto tématu. Téma holokaustu přesahuje přesahuje hranice literatury a promítají se do něho aspekty kulturologické, historické, etické, teologické, ekonomické a jiné. Projekt protobude sledovat také literární obraz holocaustu jako dialog a konflikt kontextu literárního s kontexty mimoliterárními, např. text jako fikce versus dokumentárnost, využití komiky versus morální apel. Součástí projektu bude otevření výukového kurzu na tototéma v rámci programu Ústavu české literatury a literární vědy Czech Literature In and Out. (cs)
- The project mainly focuses on the topic of the Holocaust/Shoah, i.e. extermination of the Jews in Nazi concentration camps, as presented in Czech and Slovak literatures. The confrontation of Slovak and Czech literatures, which are linguistic and territorially close and have their own cultural and historical traditions, enables to follow both the common features and differences in the presentation of this topic in these literatures. The topic of the Holocaust overcomes the borders of the literature and it reflects the cultural, historical, ethical, theological, economical and other aspects. This is why the project will also explore the literary presentation of the Holocaust as a dialogue and conflict of the literary context with non-literary contexts, e.g. the text as the fiction vs. the documentary, the comic vs. the moral message.
