The project deals with specific biomechanical problems of big joints of human body. It meets requirements of the clinical practice and is divided into three thematic parts as follows: - Biomechanical problems of hip joint: 1.Design of various variants oftotal and surface replacements (their shape, material and fixation) that will be realized using CAD systems and supported by stress-strain and reliability analyses of the endoprosthesis elements and of adjacent bones.2. Computational simulation of geometric reconstructions of pathologically developed hip joints with the aim to create a computer support to orthopaedic surgeries.3. Reliability analysis of ceramic heads under inclined physiologic-like load, taking idealized and real shape deviations into account.4. Models at higher levels of material properties modelling will be created and tested. - Biomechanical problems of knee joint: 1. A computational model for determination of stress-strain states in knee joint endoprosthesis elements and in (en)
"Grantový projekt se zabývá specifickými biomechanickými problémy velkých kloubů lidského těla. Je předkládán v souladu s požadavky ortopedické klinické praxe a je rozčleněn na tři tematické okruhy: - Biomechanické problémy kyčelního kloubu: 1. Návrh různých variant totálních a povrchových náhrad z hlediska jejich tvaru, materiálu a způsobu fixace, realizovaný s využitím CAD-ovských systémů. Budou realizovány příslušné deformačně-napěťové a spolehlivostní analýzy prvků endoprotézy i přilehlých kostí.2. Výpočtová simulace geometrických rekonstrukcí patologicky vyvinutých kyčelních spojení, cílem je vytvořit počítačovou podporu ortopedům při operacích. 3. Analýza spolehlivosti keramických hlavic pro modelové a reálné tvarové odchylky pro ""šikmé"" fyziologické zatěžování. 4. Budou aplikovány výpočtové modely s vyšší úrovní modelů vlastností kostní tkáně. - Biomechanické problémy kolenního kloubu: 1.Vytvoření výpočtového modelu pro určování deformačně-napěťových stavů v prvcích kolenní endoprotézy" (cs)
