  • The first systematic analysis of the development and transformation of political institucions of the Assyrian state in the period from the 3rd millennium B.C. to the first half of the 1st millennium B.C. The primary sources from the Assyrian archives are interpreted and the analysis of institutions is set up in the framework of social and economic structure of the Assyrian state. One of the main goals is to map development leading to the origin of the first graet empire of the 1st millennium and to contribute to the better understanding of the character of the ancient states.   • První systematická analýza vývoje a proměn politických institucí asyrského státu v období od 3. tisíciletí př. Kr. do první poloviny 1. tisíciletí př. Kr. Analýza vychází z interpretace primárních pramenů z asyrských archivů a je zasazena do rámce sociální a ekonomické struktury asyrského státu. Jedním z hlavních cílů je charakterizovat vývoj vedoucí ke vzniku první velké říše 1. tisíciletí a přispět k lepšímu poznání struktury nejstarších států. (cs)
