Present knowledge of the roles played by gustatory cortex, amygdala and parabrachial nuclei (PBN) in conditioned taste aversion (CTA) learning will be developed by using electrophysiologically guided functional blockade to specify the PBN subnuclei involved and their connections with the forebrain. The nature of plastic change supporting the CTA engram formation will be studied by microdialysis of critical brain sites with different synaptic and metabolic blockers. Taste reactivity testing will be employed to analyze the dynamics of CTA acquisition and to identify the neural circuits activated during CTA acquisition and retrieval. Neural circuits supporting CTA and other types of gustatory learning will be compared and the possibility to establishtaste-potentiated place aversion will be tested in the context of foraging. (en)
Bude dále zpřesněn podíl chuťové kůry, amygdaly a parabrachiálních jader (PBN) na vznik podmíněné chuťové averze (PChA). Elektrofyziologicky cílené funkční blokády bude použito ke specifikaci podjader PBN účastnících se PChA a ke specifikaci jejich spojení s předním mozkem. Povaha plastické změny podporující vznik PChA engramu bude studována mikrodialýzou kritických mozkových oblastí synaptickými a metabolickými blokátory. Testování chuťových reakcí bude použito k analýze dynamiky vzniku PChA a k rozlišení nervových obvodů aktivovaných při vzniku a vybavení PChA. Budou porovnány nerovové substráty PChA a jiných typů potravových učení a bude zkoumána a možnost vyvolání chutí potencované averze na lokalizaci potravy. (cs)
