| - Kvantifikovat vliv pastvy hospodářských zvířat na vlastnosti půd, odtok a jakost vod, druhovou diverzitu vegetace a vybraných druhů entomofauny v rámci pastevního areálu. (cs)
- The aim of the proposed project is to reveal and quantify the possible influence of livestock grazing on soil characteristics, incl. degradation changes, quantity and quality of water and biodiversity of the pasture. For the proposed project, three small catchments (50 - 200 ha) will be elected, all of them partly drained, located in the southern hilly part of the Czech Republic and in the Bohemo - Moravian Higland. Within each experimental catchment, two transects will be drawn across the area in cooperation with local farmers, to capture typical soil and morphological units incident in the catchment as well as the pastoral intensity of the site. Within these lines, several points will be chosen, where soil and stand composition samples will be withdrawn. The possible influence of grazing on changes of soil characteristics (both physical and chemical, incl. degradation) as well as on botany composition and coprophagous beetle habitation (Scarabaeidae, Geotrupidae) will be investigated.
