  • This work is concerned with the selective removal of copper from waste or process streams containing strong anionic complexes (NTA, EDTA). The conditions for efficient sorption of copper from NTA (EDTA) complex were determined on oligo(ethyleneamine) resins in the free base form. The sorption of metals on standard carboxylic or iminodiacetate cation exchangers was not effective for removal of metals of NTA or EDTA complexes. The sorption was only effective when a suitable oligo(ethyleneamine) ligand was added into the treated solution containing anionic complex. The conditions and mechanism of this recomplexation process were studied in this work.

  • Tato práce se zabývá odstraňováním mědi z odpadních vod obsahujících silné aniontové komplexy (NTA, EDTA). Byly zjištěny podmínky pro účinné odstranění mědi z NTA a EDTA komplexů pomocí oligo(ethylenaminových) sorbentů. Účinného odstranění mědi z těchto komplexů pomocí karboxylového a IDA katexu bylo dosaženo pomocí rekomplexace aniontového komplexu přídavkem vhodného kationtového ligandu. (cs)
