  • A plastic welding has many applications in industrial production. A modern method of plastic welding is ultrasonic welding. The ultrasonic welding is often used in automotive and aerospace, medical, and packaging today. Parts to be joined are held together under pressure and are then subjected to ultrasonic vibrations usually at a frequency of 20, 30 or 40 kHz. A several factors have influence on weld strength. Kind of material, welding technology and welding parameters have a greatest influence on the weld strength. The aim of this paper was to determine the influence of technological parameters of injection moulding on the weld quality.
