The dynamic development in various industrial fields requires increased toughness and durability of the commonly used building materials. These requirements are satisfied successfully by the composite materials which are based on the cementitious matrix, such as steel fiber reinforced concrete. Uniformly distributed fibers in the matrix of the fiber concrete make it an excellent building material with higher tensile strength when compared with ordinary concrete, which can be used for industrial floors. The applications of steel fiber reinforced concrete are increasing continuously over the years. These excellent characteristics of fiber concrete are obtained only when the fibers are distributed uniformly. The practical experience however knows cases of nests of huddled fibers and also locations with fibers completely absent, both of which affect its homogeneity and thus reduce its favorable characteristics. The development of non-destructive testing methods should monitor the homogeneity of fiber distribution and as such also serve as a feedback for improvement in technology of dispersion of fiber during production fiber concrete.
