Description
| - Ve skupině Triticeae (trávy, Poaceae) produkovala stará hybridizace množství allopolyploidních druhů, jejichž původ je poměrně dobře známý. Role současné hybridizace a introgrese za různých ekologických podmínek a mechanismy generující variabilitu nejsou zdaleka tak dobře známé. Pomocí molekulárních a cytologických metod jsme analyzovali hybridizaci a genový tok mezi dvěma allohexaploidními pýry: plevelným druhem Elytrigia repens a stepním Elytrigia intermedia. (cs)
- In the tribe Triticeae (family Poaceae), ancient hybridisations have produced a multitude of allopolyploid taxa whose origin is rather well-known. However, the role of recent natural hybridisation and introgression under different ecological conditions and the mechanisms generating variability are much less understood. Using molecular and cytological methods we investigated natural hybridisation and gene flow between two predominantly allohexaploid wheatgrasses, weedy Elytrigia repens and steppic E. intermedia, with respect to habitats characterised by different degrees of anthropogenic disturbance. Weedy E. repens was rare in a steppic locality whereas E. intermedia was almost absent at two sites of agricultural land-use. Nevertheless, hybrids were common there whereas none were found at the steppic locality, underlining the importance of different ecological conditions for hybrid formation or establishment. At one highly disturbed site, more than 16% of randomly collected plants were hybrids. He...
