| - Byla studována účinnost difosfátu (S)-9-[3-hydroxy-(2-phosphonomethoxy)propyl]adeninu (HPMPApp) jako substrátu DNA-polymeras. Míra inkorporace HPMPApp byla vyšší pro pol epsílon než pro pol delta ale 5,4 až 23 krát nižší než inkorporace dATP, což je nejspíše příčinou celulární toxicity a virostatické aktivity vůči polyomavirům (cs)
- In this study the substrate potency of (S)-9-[(3-hydroxy-2-phosphonomethoxy)-propyl]adenine diphosphate (HPMPApp) toward DNA polymerases was examined. It was found that efficiency of HPMPApp incorporation decreased in the order pol epsilon > pol delta and was from 5.4 to 23 fold lower than that of dATP. These observations might contribute to cellular toxicity of HPMPA and explain its antiviral activity against polyomavirus
