  • We describe a new flow cytometry protocol for detecting and discriminating the fluorescence signals from both ELF97 alkoholu (ELFA) and different counterstains DAPI and propidium iodide (PI)). The method has been successfully applied in both freshwater and marine samples. This method promises to improve our understanding of the physiological response of heterotrophic bacteria to P limitation.

  • Popisujeme novou metodu průtokové cytometrie pro detekci a odlišení fluorescenčních signálů z ELF97 alkoholu a různých kontrastních barviv (DAPI, propidium jodid). Metoda byla úspěšně použita na vzorcích slakých a mořských vod. Metoda slibuje rozšířit porozumění fyziologickým odpovědím heterotřrofických bakterií na limitaci fosforem. (cs)
