Description
| - Fylogenetická složení a podíl bakterií přijímajících leucin byly studovány pomocí metody fluorescenční in situ hybridizace kombinované s mikroautoradiografií. - Fluorescence in situ hybridization combined with microautoradiography was used to determine bacterial phylogenetic affiliations and the proportions of cells incorporating leucine. Bacteria were exposed to variable levels of available resources and bacterivory in a freshwater reservoir. Grazing-free and grazing-enhanced treatments were incubated in both P-limited and P-rich areas of the reservoir using dialysis bags, and bottle treatments with and without phosphorus enrichment. Betaproteobacteria, mainly the R-BT065 subcluster, become the dominant leucine-active bacteria in all treatments, in particular under conditions of enhanced protistan grazing and resource availability. The Sphingobacteria/Flavobacteria group exhibited very low rates of leucine uptake. Gammaproteobacteria was the least abundant but a highly active part of bacterial assemblage.
