  • Třezalka tečkovaná (Hypericum perforatum) je součástí volně prodejných potravních doplňků a s úspěchem se používívá jako přírodní antidepresivum, byly u ní však referovány četné interakce se subtráty enzymatického systému cytochromu P-450. Interakce látek a třezalky tečkované jsou hojně diskutovaným problémem v odborné literatuře. Klinické studiu poukazují na skutečnost, že extrakt třezalky tečkované významně snižuje plazmatickou hladinu digoxinu. Studie provedené se zdravými dobrovolníky i pacienty s depresivní poruchou referují o snižování plazmatických hladin i dalších léčiv - jsou to indinavir, nevirapin, cyklosporin, teofylin, midazolam, simvastatin, ethinyestradiol, warfarin, amitriptylin a nortriptylin. Cílem předkládané studie bylo popsat vliv standardizovaného extraktu LI 160 - 100 mg/kg, i.p., jednou denně po dobu 10ti dnů - (obsahující v jedné dávce 280 g hypericinu, 300 g pseudohypericinu, 6.5 mg hyperforinu a 10 mg hyperosidu) na metabolickou aktivitu klinicky nejvýznamnějších izoenzymů c (cs)
