Description
  • A Charpy specimen fractured in impact loading at the temperature of -30°C was selected. Cleavage fracture was not triggered at second phase particles but it was induced by some intrinsic mechanism. At the desired position at the fracture surface (cleavage initiation facet) a TEM thin foil was prepared by means of FIB method.

  • Na Charpyho tělese porušeném rázem při teplotě -30°C byla nalezena faseta iniciace štěpného lomu. Štěpný lom byl iniciován vnitřním mechanismem spojeným s plastickou deformací. Proto byla na místě iniciace pomocí fokusovaného iontového svazku (FIB) vyříznuta a připravena tenká fólie pro pozorování v TEM. (cs)
