  • Tehliarska hlina z lokality Radobica bola skúmaná pri izbovej teplote po výpaloch na teploty od 100 °C do 1100 °C. Bolo zistené, že hmotnostný úbytok narastal približne lineárne s teplotou výpalu a dosiahol 6 % pri 1100 °C. Nevratná objemová zmena po výpaloch je nepatrná do 500 °C. Potom bol pozorovaný jej nárast do 800 °C a následne sa prejavilo spekanie, ktoré spôsobilo intenzívne zmraštenie. Youngov modul pružnosti najskôr slabo narastal pri nízkoteplotných výpaloch a následnou dehydroxyláciou illitu sa znížil až pokiaľ sa neobjaví spekanie nad 800 °C. Potom Youngov modul pružnosti znovu narastá, ale hodnoty Youngovho modulu pružnosti ostávajú nízke v dôsledku vysokej pórovitosti.
  • The brick clay from the location of Radobica, Slovakia, was investigated at room temperature after the firings at the temperatures from 100 °C to 1100 °C. It was found out that the mass loss increased approximately linearly with the firing temperature and reached 6 % for 1100 °C. An irreversible volume change after the firings is negligible up to 500 °C. Then we observed its increase until 800 °C and, subsequently, sintering occurred that caused an intensive shrinkage. Young's modulus slightly increased first at low temperature firings and, due to the subsequent dehydroxylation, it decreased until the sintering takes place above 800 °C. The modulus then increases again, but its values remain small due to large porosity. (en)
