  • We studied the effect of oxygen partial pressure reduction to 0.05% during melt processing of NdBa 2 Cu 3 O y , GdBa 2 Cu 3 O y and (Nd,Eu,Gd)Ba 2 Cu 3 O y on magnetic properties and microstructure. In the GdBa 2 Cu 3 O y cluster were observed of sub-micron sized secondary phase particles. magnetic properties at low fields were always better than those of the samples prepared 0.1%pO2.
