  • Fatigue behaviour of ultrafine-grained copper of different purity prepared by ECAP has been experimentally investigated. The fatigue lifetime in the high-cycle region depends both on the purity and the ECAP path. Copper of 99.9998 % purity exhibits substantially lower endurance limit than copper of 99.5 % purity. The influence of different ECAP route (C or BC) on the fatigue resistance in high-cycle region was observed only for Cu of higher purity. In low-cycle fatigue region all experimentally determined lifetime data fall into one scatter band.

  • Experimentálně bylo zjišťováno únavové chování ultrajemnozrnné mědi připravené metodou ECAP. Únavová životnost ve vysokocyklové oblasti závisí na čistotě mědi a na způsobu protlačování. Měď o čistotě 99.9998% má podstatně nižší časovanou mez únavy než měď s čistotou 99.5 %. Vliv způsobu protlačování (C nebo Bc) na únavovou odolnost se projevil pouze u velmi čisté Cu ve vysokocyklové oblasti. V nízkocyklové oblasti všechny experimentálně stanovené životnosti leží v jediném rozptylovém pásu (cs)
