  • The results of the numerical experiments of the spherical particle saltation based on the 3D numerical model developed by authors show that the sand particle transported by water in channel with a rough bed stops when the value of the transport stage η = τ* / τ*c decreases to value less than 0.4 (for the dimensionless particle parameter D* varying from 10 to 100) for the bed roughness / particle diameter ratio ks/d = 1. The value of transport stage η = 0.4 corresponds to the shear velocity value u*s 2/3 u*c, where u*c is the critical shear velocity corresponding to the incipient motion of the particles. If the ratio ks/d increases from 0.67 to 1.33 the value of the stopping transport stage ηs increases from about 0.3 to about 0.5.

  • Výsledky numerických experimentů s využitím vlastního 3D numerického modelu saltace kulovité částice ukazují, že dochází k ukončení pohybu písčité částice unášené vodou v korytě s drsným dnem pokud hodnota transportního parametru η = τ* / τ*c klesne pod 0,4 (pro hodnoty bezrozměrného parametru částice 10 < D* < 100) pro poměr drsnosti dna a průměru částice ks/d = 1. Hodnota transportního parametru η = 0,4 odpovídá hodnotě třecí rychlosti u*s 2/3 u*c , kde u*c je kritická třecí rychlost odpovídající počátku pohybu částic. Pokud poměr ks/d roste v mezích 0,67 až 1,33, mění se hodnota transportního parametru η od 0,3 do 0,5. (cs)
