| - The purpose of this study was to find out the differences in occupation of various parts of the stable (sections) by dairy cows before and after morning milking. Monitoring cows were czech fleckvieh-simmental. Experiment conducted in farm GenAgro Ricany a. s. (49°12'30.370''N, 16°23'43.092''E). The objective of monitoring was one section - one quarter of stable (n = 98 cows), where 103 cubicles are arranged in three rows (32 cubicles in row A -- close to feed alley; 33 cubicles in row B -- in the middle; and 38 cubicles in row C - at the edge). Observation was carried out at weekly intervals in March, April and May 2012 (8 observations). The monitoring includes the position of all cos in section in particular rows (A, B and C) and preferences of right or left part of section. First observation of each monitoring day was executed always before milking (cca at 8 a.m.) and the second after milking (cca at 10 a.m.), it`s 2 record per day. Altogether 1 568 observations of dairy cos vas evaluated. The record was executed to the exact platform of section and subsequently process in Microsoft Excel 2007.
