Nedílnou součástí je analýza role státu v ekonomice z tohoto pohledu. (cs) The purpose of this article is to discuss principal approaches to taxes and a public sector with regard to discussions, which are currently in progress, concerning the tax reform and a role of the state in an economy in the conditions of the Czech Republic. Especially are analysed the questions of government, market and non-market failures, mainly their determinants from a microeconomic point of view.
