Description
  • It has been shown recently that liquid crystal texture can be conserved in a bulk diblock copolymer films prepared by a solution casting with a neutral solvent. Polarized light microscopy and SEM have been used to visualize the self-assembled ordered microdomain structures. The block copolymers studied were PS-b-PMMA and PS-b-PEO block copolymer with various diblock lengths dissolved in toluene or dioxane. The influence of copolymer concentration and film thickness on the type of organized microstructure has been also studied.

  • Nedávno bylo ukázáno, že textura tekutých krystalů může být zachována ve filmech blokových kopolymerů, připravených litím z neutrálního rozpouštědla. Mikroskopie v polarizovaném světle a SEM byly použity k zobrazení samoorganizovaných uspořádaných strukturních mikrodomén. Studovány byly blokové kopolymery PS-PMMA a PS-PEO s různou délkou obou bloků, rozpouštěné v toluenu či dioxanu. Rovněž byl studován vliv koncentrace kopolymeru a tloušťky filmu na typ organizovaných mikrostruktur. (cs)
