Description
  • Self-supporting silicalite-1 layers were grown on mercury surface from clear solutions at temperatures 140-180oC. Synthesis time was varied. Kinetics of layer growth was measured and the corresponding apparent activation energy was estimated to 52kJ/mol. Layer morphology and thickness were characterized by SEM. Phase purity of silicalite-1 and orientation of crystals were determined by XRD. Density measurements of polycrystalline layers were carried out by helium pycnometry and by hydrostatic method. Layers with the thickness >40.mu.m were found to be highly compact. Relevancy of Brownian motion of colloidal particles besides their sedimentation is shown.

  • Samonosné vrstvy silikalitu-1 byly pěstovány na povrchu rtuti z čirých roztoků při teplotě 140-180°C. Měnila se přitom doba syntézy a byla zjišťována kinetika růstu vrstev. Zdánlivá aktivační energie růstu vrstev byla odhadnuta na 52 kJ/mol. Morfologie vrstvy a její tloušťka byla určována pomocí SEM. Měření hustoty polykrystalických vrstev se provádělo heliovou pyknometrií a hydrostatickou metodou. Vedle sedimentace koloidních částic se na procesu růstu významně podíli i Brownův pohyb. Leptání syntetizovaných polykrystalických vrstev silikalitu-1 pomocí HF způsobilo vznik tmavých ostrých štěrbin podél hranic zrn, čímž se zviditelnily jednotlivé krystalové bloky. Leptání kalcinovaných vrstev naopka vedlo jakoby k negativnímu obrazu krystalů, tvořenému odolnými tenkými slupkami na povrchu krystalů, které byly prostoupeny uhlíkatými zbytky, vzniklými při odstraňování templátu. Je evidentní přítomnost tenké vrstvy siliky na plochách mezi sousedními krystaly. (cs)
