Description
| - A new laboratory station for measurement of concentration of atmospheric pollutants was constructed at the ICT Prague. The basis of the station is a system of automatic gas analyzers Advance Optima, which consists of infrared analyzing modules URAS 14 (measurement of the CO2, CO, CH4), thermomagnetic module MAGNOS 16 (measurement of the O2) and central unit. The analyzing system takes a sample of flue gases from the combustion chamber by a cooling unit Advance SCC with a sample pump. The combustion chamber consists of a burner with a spark gap and a flame ionization sensor. Flame in the furnace is initiated and maintained using a standard furnace automatic. In the combustion chamber the natural gas is burned with air. The exact ratio of mixture natural gas/air is set by two controllers for the flow measurement of gaseous media, which are controlled by an industrial PC. Software for the station was programmed in LabVIEW.
