Description	In th present article, we studied the phenomenon of the propagation of a pressure wave in a thin walled elastic tube filled with an incompressible Newtonian fluid. This problem is generally described by the coupling of the equations of the dynamics of f luid with equations of the movement of the wall which is modelled by laws of elastic (viscoelastic) material behavior. Under suitable approximations, we derive a hyperbolic system of equations with source term. A proper set of boundary conditions is der ived by means of standard characteristics analysis. The model is examined numerically using a high-resolution non-oscillatory central scheme with nonstaggered grids, Nessyahu-Tadmor (NT).
