Description
  • The influence of mould temperature on the mechanical properties of crystalline polymers is given mainly by supramolecular structure, which is created during crystallization. A higher temperature of the mould cavity is often recommended for gentler speculate structure and for a lower influence of %22frozen layer%22 otherwise skin-core effect. These recommendations are often generalized and are considered as of binding force. The compounds of polypropylene with rubber are often used in automotive industry and usually are set lower temperature of mould cavity for lower time of injection cycle. For the most of these parts are imposed requirements in term of strength. This article notifies resolutions of tensile strength and notch toughness in depending on a setting of mould temperature for selected type of polypropylene with rubber.
