Description
| - Polyester ranks the upper position in the world fiber production – nearly 54% of the total production of synthetic fibers. Troubles connected with the fabric hydrophilicity minimizing are being solved by the fibers´ surface chemical modification, but froecological point of view the low temperature plasma modification is superior to classical chemical wet processes. That was the reason, why we performed a systematic study of the PES treatment with low-pressure RF plasmas. For working gas oxygen, nitrogenand their mixtures were employed. Internal plasma control was provided by the optical emission spectra measured with the “Ocean Optics” spectrometer. The hydrophilicity degree was determined by the Drop–test. Paper discusses optimal conditions of the PESfabric plasma treatment.

- Polyester (PES) zaujímá přední místo ve světové výrobní produkci vláken, téměř 54%. Tato vlákna mají jisté nevýhody jako jsou hydrofobita, která je v textilním průmyslu odstraňována chemickou cestou, avšak z pohledu ekologického se nízkotlaková plazmováprava jeví vhodnější. Různé aplikace odlyšných plazmových úprav byly již dříve popsány. Z důvodu porovnání efektivnosti RF a MW výboje byly provedeny řady pokusů. Pro modifikaci byly užity dva plyny: vzduch a směs kyslíku a dusíku. V průběhu modifikace pazmou bylo snímáno spektrum výboje metodou “Optical emission spectroscopy“ (OES). Pro vyhodnocení dynamiky vpíjení byl užit “Drop test“. Tento článek hodnotí optimální podmínky modifikace. (cs)
