(cs) The article is dedicated to the iconography of the title page of the unique Latin print HUSSIUS ET LUTHERUS, id est: Collatio Historica Duorum Fortissimorum Jesu Christi militum M. JOHANNIS HUSSII BOHEMI, & D. MARTINI LUTHERI GERMANI... (Prague, 1618). An unusual depiction of the figures of Jan Hus and Martin Luther with burning torches in their hands appears on the title page. In conjunction with the adjacent Latin quote from the Chapter 11 of the Book of Revelation, Hus and Luther are portrayed as two witnesses designated to alert the world. (en)
