  • Recesivní dystrofická epidermolyza bulozní (RDEB) má zvýšené riziko vzniku progresivního a metastazujícího spinocelulárního karcinomu kůže (SCC). Není jasné, proč tyto karcinomy jsou agresivnější než ojediněle se vyskytující. Matrix metalloproteniaz patří mezi endopeptidasy, které podporují růst, invazi a metastazují. Role MMP u SCC u recesisní dystrofické epidermolyzy bulozní není známa. Cílem práce je zkoumat expresi MMP-7, MMP-13 a MMP-9 u RDEB ve srovnání se sporadickým SCC a nemocí Bowen. K Immunohistochemické analyze byly použity monoklonální protilátky (MMP-7, MMP-9, MMP-13) a E-cadherin a syndecan-1. Výsledky studie ukázaly MMP-7 a MMP-13 jako specifické markry progrese buněk SCC a potencionální cíle při léčbě karcinomu v případech recesivní dystrofické epidermalyzy bulozní. (cs)

It is unclear why these SCC behave more aggressively than sporadic SCC. Matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) are a family of endopeptidases that contribute to growth, invasion and metastasis of SCC.
