| - In our paper we evaluate the influence of three levels of intensity of utilisation (two, three and four cuts) of permanent grasslands in the Czech Republic with homogeneous level of fertilizing (PK+N90) on yield, quality and utilisation of fodder by cattle. We carried out a model calculation of the need of the cattle herd for farming utilisation of grasslands on the basis of exact results completed with accessible literary sources on fodder intake by cattle at the stated intensity of utilisation. Dry matter production of economic yield in the average of evaluated sites and treatments decreases from a two-cut to four-cut utilisation from 8.05 t.ha-1 to 6.42 t.ha-1 and calculated dry matter production of economic yield for the model area of 500 thousand ha of grasslands is 4,025 thousand tonnes at the two-cut system, 3,665 thousand t at the three-cut system and 3,210 thousand t at the four-cut system. - V příspěvku hodnotíme vliv tří intenzit využívání (dvou, tří a čtyřsečné) travních porostů v České republice při úrovni hnojení PKN90 na výnos, kvalitu a využití píce skotem. Na základě exaktních výsledků jsme provedli modelový výpočet potřeby stáda skotu pro zemědělské využití travních porostů. Produkce sušiny hospodářského výnosu v průměru hodnocených stanovišť a variant se snižuje od dvousečného ke čtyřsečnému využití z 8,05 t.ha-1 na 6,42 t.ha-1 a vypočtená produkce sušiny hospodářského výnosu na modelovou výměru 500 tis. ha travních porostů je při dvousečném využití 4025 tis. t, při třísečném 3665 tis. t a při čtyřsečném využití klesá až na 3210 tis. t. Velikost stáda krav potřebného na konverzi zkrmitelné sušiny je ve variantě bez jádra u extenzivního dvousečného využívání 382 tis. krav, u třísečného 306 tis. a při čtyřsečném využívání se snižuje na 231 tis. krav, tj. rozdíl činí 151 tis. krav. Z modelového výpočtu vyplývá, že pro zemědělské využití 0,5 mil ha travních porostů v ČR je optimální (cs)
