Description
| - The proposal is focused to optimization of control measures against Ips typographus in changing natural and social conditions and in serious situation after mass damage of forests in the Czech Republic after windstorm Kyrill. Its role is also the evaluation of missing information about spatial distribution of Ips typographus and its relations to environmental conditions. The goal of project is also the estimation of candidate key factors leading to outbreak and study of new strategies in control of bark beetles. Planned outcoming of project will be user guide for optimization of control measures (in the GIS environment in optimal case). (en)
- Hlavním cílem projektu je navržení optimalizace ovládání populací lýkožrouta smrkového v intencích velkoprostorového plánování a zohlednění potřeb společnosti využitím moderních metod statistiky, aplikované ekologie a prostředí GIS.

| - The key objective of the project consisted in optimization of bark beetle population management in terms of large-capacity planning and taking the needs of our society into account by using the latest statistical methods, applied ecology and the GIS environment methods. The project developed in keeping with both the time and methodology plan. (en)
