Description
  • The project is focused on the fundamental research of the physical characteristics of 1D nanostructures with ultrathin ferromagnetic layers suitable for contactless and noninvasive sensing of magnetic fields using magneto-optic techniques. It is motivated by practical use of these nanostructures to mapping high frequency fields radiated at critical locations in new generation semiconductor integrated circuits. The nanostructure sensor should display high sensitivity to weak magnetic fields in small volumes and enable 3D resolution up to submicron levels. It should be mechanically and chemically stable. Its optical response should be linear up to 100 GHz. The nanostructure profile optimizes optical response at the working laser frequency. (en)

  • The design of nanostructures with ultrathin Fe for the magneto-optic mapping of current pulses up to tens GHz with a 2D diffraction limited resolution was investigated. The structures consist of an ultrathin Fe sandwiched with dielectrics deposited on an Au reflector and capped with Au. Analytical expressions provide the maximum of MO reflected wave amplitude corresponding to optimized SNR. (en)
  • Byl vypracován návrh magnetooptických nanostruktur pro mapování polí s difrakčně omezeným rozlišením do desítek GHz. Nanostruktury jsou tvořeny ultratenkou vrstvou Fe umístěnou mezi dielektriky. Jsou deponovany na Au reflektoru a chráněny vrchní Au vrstvou. Maximum odražené vlny polarizované kolmo vůči vlně dopadající, podstané z hlediska optimalizace signál/šum, plyne z analytické vyjádření. (cs)
