| - Preparation of ceramic and single crystal materials from the group of sesquioxides and multicomponent garnet oxide and fluoride materials, undoped and rare earth doped. Characterization of their optical, luminescence and scintillation parameters, comparison with commercial materials and application standards. Study of basic physical aspect of the energy transfer and storage in scintillation mechanism and the role of specific defects in it. (en)
- Připravit a charakterizovat následující materiálové systémy: 1) Nedopované a Yb3+ -dopované RE2O3 (RE=Y,Lu,Sc) sesquioxidy v monokrystalické a keramické formě 2)Multikomponentní granáty – Ce3+ a Pr3+-dopované (Gd-RE)3(Ga-Al)5O12 monokrystaly (RE= Lu, Y) 3)kodopované Eu:LiCaAlF6 monokrystaly Popsat procesy přenosu a záchytu energie ve vyvinutých materiálech a roli defektů ve scintilačním mechanismu. Porovnat charakteristiky vyvinutých materiálů s komerčními standardy. Navrhnout a realizovat technologické modifikace pro optimalizaci materiálů.

| - Veškeré plánované vzorky keramických (Re2O3 a Yb:Re2O3) a monokrystalických (Ce a Pr dopované (Lu-Gd)3(Ga-Al)5O12 monokrystaly a Ce,Eu dopované LiCaAlF6 monokrystaly) scintilátorů byly dodány japonskou stranou a plně charakterizovány českou stranou. Na základě vybraných výsledků bylo publikováno či k publikaci přijato šestnáct článků v mezinárodních časopisech a jedna kapitola v knize. (cs)
- All the planned samples of Re2O3 a Yb:Re2O3 ceramics and Ce,Pr doped (Lu-Gd)3(Ga-Al)5O12 and Ce,Eu doped LiCaAlF6 monocrystals were manufactured and delivered byJapanese collaborating laboratory and fully characterized by the Czech side. Selected results were published in 16 joint original papers and one chapter in a book. (en)
