The objective of this project is to study CP Violation in the neutral B-meson system and physics beyond the The project aims in studies of the Beyond Standard Model Physics in the B-meson decays in the international experiment Belle and its continuation Belle II. The Belle experiment analyses the largest existing B-meson data sample acquired in 2000-2010. The Belle II experiment will start after the upgrade of the collider SuperKEKB and detector at Tsukuba (Japan) and thanks to its statistics increased by a factor 50 it will allow studies of pressing questions of particle physics (asymmetry between matter and antimatter, etc.). The proponent’s team has been contributing to the analysis of the existing data as well to the Belle II physics and technical design and its construction. According to the schedule agreed the collider should be commissioned in 2015 and physics data taking should start in 2016. (en)
Precision Frontier. V projektu se hodláme věnovat všem aspektům fyzikálního experimentu: návrhu, budování a spouštění detektoru, přípravě programového vybavení a zpracování experimentálních dat z experimentu Belle.
